Tio Ticio is more than just a family business, it’s a tribute to love, service, and generosity.
Our Story
The name comes from “Tio,” meaning uncle in Pangasinan, and “Ticio,” the beloved nickname of our grandfather, whom our father deeply cherished.
Our parents started this small business in 2010, with us-their five children-serving as the crew. It all began with a simple joy: preparing meals for missionaries. Seeing their smiles as they enjoyed our food filled our hearts with happiness. Over time, we expanded to serving at youth conferences, YSA gatherings, and FSY sessions.
Our father used to joke that our business was “half business, half charity”-he made sure that no one left hungry, allowing second and even third servings. His passion stemmed from a personal experience: as a young participant in a youth conference, he once went to bed hungry because food had run out. He never wanted anyone else to go through that, so he built Tio Ticio on the foundation of delicious, generous meals for all.
Now that Papa has moved on to the other side of the veil, we continue his legacy-serving with the same love, generosity, and joy that he taught us.
